Staff are incredibly attentive, with wonderful suggestions as well as excellent service throughout. The frozen margs are dangerously good, with one tasting like six more every time. The restaurant in general cater to allergies, specifically gluten, incredibly well. We didn’t feel like a burden at any point, and the attention to detail with the menu allergens was brilliant. Would absolutely recommend.

Is 5 stars even enough? From start to finish this is the perfect dining experience! Food was incredible (Taco Tuesday for the win!) cocktails amazing, price was great value. You can tell that the people looking after you have a real interest in the business, independent always beats a chain. JOE was a great host (is that a decent enough mention?) Would we return, absolutely! Nope, 5 stars wasn’t enough, so here’s 5 more!

I recently visited D Grande Tex Mex in Chiswick and had a lovely experience overall. The staff were absolutely amazing—super friendly and welcoming. It felt less like dining out and more like crashing a fun party with great hosts. The restaurant itself is clean with a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. The food quality was impressive and packed with flavor—definitely promising. The tacos, in particular, were delicious and full of character. However, I did find the portion sizes to be a bit disappointing for the price. The naked burrito was quite small, and the same goes for the regular burrito. While the flavors were great, the portions could definitely be more generous. All in all, a fantastic place to visit if you're after good vibes and tasty food, but keep the portion sizes in mind.

Great spot on Chiswick high street. Good cocktails and service from blonde Joe. The food is solid tex-mex. Be sure to get the street-corn

We were in the area for an event and decided upon D Grande as we have a penchant for Tex Mex food, and the reviews looked good. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted, and asked if we had a booking. We were initially a tad surprised as it was early evening on a Thursday but a table was available. It soon became apparent why we were asked about a booking as the place was full within 15 minutes of us sitting down. Our party of 3 had various Burritos, along with a side of tortillas and Guac, frozen Margaritas, and I had a Black IPA. Every single element from the warm and friendly service, to the flavoursome food, and the lovely drinks, was absolutely spot on, and we couldn't recommend all highly enough. We're not sure when we'll be back down that way, but if we do, we'll definitely visit again (and make a booking, so we don't potentially miss out!). You don't want to open a branch in Stratford Upon Avon, do you?

I was in London visiting my daughter who frequents D’Grande often. We went to Taco Tuesday with a couple of her friends. It was a fun evening. Joe Dan and curly hair Joe were delightful hosts and bartenders. They keep the atmosphere jovial and friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks were very good! A great place to enjoy good food in a friendly atmosphere and have some fun. Will definitely go again when I am back in town!

Texan living in London and I’ve been dying to find some Tex-Mex in the city. Found this place and it is SPOT ON! Friendly ownership, sizzling fajitas & strong margaritas — all you need. Be sure to get the queso too, you won’t regret it. Will be back

Excellent TexMex in Chiswick. I have been a few times and went this week on a sunny afternoon. The queso is a must and the owner even gave us a very generous sample before we ordered it. I had a good quesadilla and my friend the brisket taco which was quality meat but maybe a little on the sweet side for us. The food may have been a 4.5 but with the service, I will give it a 5! From past visits, I can also recommend the Paloma! Look forward to another visit soon.
